The
Cortijo
de La Argumosa is located in the north-east slope of the Natural
Park of Sierra Nevada, just 16 km away from Granada
city and 30 minutes (driving) from Sierra
Nevada ski station. Because of its privileged position at 1.200 metres
height, it is considered to be a suitable destination for all those who seek
to enjoy the country calm and who, at the same time, seek to do cultural
tourism without suffering the constant coming and going of Granada city.
On the north, it borders on the Natural Park of Sierra de Huétor. Its
nearest villages, Quentar and Güejar Sierra,
still preserve the flavour of the highland villages near the city of Alhambra.
The Natural Park of Sierra Nevada stands out because of its variety of flora
and fauna as well as its richness of water.
